Thirty-five police officers were commended by CoP(Ag) Mc Donald Jacob for their hard work and dedication. During a brief ceremony at the police administration building in POS Jacob told criminals that the TTPS is strong and resilient.

The following is a press release from the TTPS:

The recovery of firearms, drugs, stolen vehicles, and the capture of wanted persons, as a result of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service’s Active Grid Patrol System, which gives officers an increased impetus to be more active and involved.

So said Acting Commissioner of Police, Mc Donald Jacob at a brief commendation ceremony for 35 officers held today, 13th October, at the Police Administration Building.

He added, “Combined with the dedication, commitment, and hard work of officers, the TTPS is moving towards ensuring the safety of citizens. Today is a reminder there is reward for hard work”.

The Acting CoP took the opportunity to warn criminals that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service remains strong and resilient, and in every Division, every officer is motivated to perform, having both the tools and mindset necessary to protect citizens.

The 35 officers, who received commendation were from, the Port of Spain Division, the Eastern Division, the Southern Division, and the E999 Command Centre.
